A Full Circle Moment
Some sessions carry a little extra meaning.
This one… felt like a full circle moment.
When this mama reached out for my newborn model call, her name was instantly familiar. Years ago, I had the honor of photographing her wedding. And now to be invited back into their story, to capture the next chapter of their lives, felt incredibly special.
There is something so humbling about being trusted to document not just one milestone, but multiple pieces of a family’s journey.
A Baby So Deeply Longed For
This sweet baby boy was long awaited.
You could feel it in every moment of the session—the love, the gratitude, the quiet awe of finally having him here in their arms. The kind of love that feels steady, deep, and rooted in everything they’ve walked through to get to this point.
These are the stories that stay with me.
The ones where every image holds more than just a moment—it holds meaning, history, and so much heart.
Big Brother Love
And then there was big brother…
He was so incredibly sweet and gentle, stepping into his new role so naturally. The way he looked at his baby brother, the soft touches, the quiet curiosity—it was all so genuine and full of love.
These sibling moments are always some of my favorites to capture.
They may feel small now, but they quickly become some of the most treasured memories.
A Styled Newborn Session With Intention
Because this was a model call session, I used it as an opportunity to really lean into my signature Andrea Mae Photography style.
Creamy, soft neutrals.
Cozy, layered textures.
Simple, timeless setups that keep the focus exactly where it belongs—on this beautiful baby and the connection surrounding him.
I also got to incorporate an adorable new outfit from my studio closet that fit perfectly within the vision for this session. It’s always so fun bringing in new pieces and thoughtfully designing each setup to feel cohesive, calm, and true to my style.
Every detail was chosen with intention to create a gallery that feels warm, polished, and timeless.
Why These Moments Matter
Sessions like this are a reminder of why I do what I do.
It’s not just about documenting a new baby—it’s about honoring the journey that brought them here. The waiting, the hoping, the praying, and finally… the arriving.
